And it's West Africa again! For 5 years now, the BET Awards "Best African Act" Winners have always been from West Africa.  Last year we though that Tanzania's Diamond would bring it closer home, but that didn't happen as the award went to Nigeria's Davido.

Ghana dancehall sensation Stonebwoy has picked up the BET Awards 2015 "Best International Act: Africa" award at the 2015 BET awards ceremony at Los Angeles in the USA.

The Bhim Nation leader was nominated alongside Sarkodie, South Africa’s AKA and The Soil, Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, Kenyan Afro-Pop band Sauti Sol, and two Nigerian Pop stars, Wizkid and Yemi Alade.

The award was presented to the Ghanaian at the pre-taped ceremony ahead of the main awards tonight.
