Barely 24 hours after Tanzanian President John Magufuli ordered that all public institutions there cut their expenditure on heavy refreshments, in Kenya a member of parliament is busy complaining of lack of the same in parliament. Sirisia MP John Walukhe is currently trending on social media after addressing journalists over this.

The MP was recorded on camera complaining about the food they are served at the restaurant in parliament saying it's salt-less. He also says that they are served strong tea meaning that parliament cannot even afford to buy milk.  Here is the video of Walukhe complaining before journalists.

Meanwhile in Tanzania...

“Light refreshments may be offered at meetings in the morning or afternoon that last longer than two hours. Such refreshments shall be limited to tea, water or juice and nuts/fruits and shall exclude meats and heavy snacks,” ordered Magufuli.

Do you think Uhuru Kenyatta should ban food from parliament so that we can cut on some expenses?
