Ugandans are not taking this lightly, even though some of them are of the opinion that their beauty queen isn't all that. Good example is one    who in a comment to a post by   said;

The world has already started mocking our beauty queen; comparing her to Kenya's stunner. We don't care. Our queen is like a German car - very functional. She can dig, run, resist Marbug and hunger. Now who is having the last laugh?
