Kim Jong-Un is no stranger to controversy. His regime has been accused of killing anyone seen to be insubordinate to the North Korean leader. The latest victim is the country's Defence Minister Hyon Yong-chol who was allegedly executed by anti aircraft fire in front of an audience. His crime; dozing off at a public function attended by the Supreme leader.

South Korean news agency Yonhap reports that Kim's regime accused him of treason. However, cannot be verified since the state media in the country hasn't reported the execution.

Apart from showing disrespect to the leader, Defense Minister Hyon Yong Chol is said to have "talked back" at the leader and "didn't carry out instructions." He was killed on April 30 by a firing squad using 6 anti-aircraft machine guns.

Kim has been reported to have executed 15 top government officials this year. A while back, Business Insider reported that Kim executed his own uncle for his "tremendous crimes against the government."

Kim took over leadership of the country from his late father in 2011.
