There are things that used to drive our mums crazy. And of course, we got a whooping for it.

Here are things we did as kids that got us into serious trouble.

Being sent and forgetting

Going to the shop singing a list of things you have been sent to buy but then someone greets you in the way and you immediately forget what you were sent and now you know you are going home to be beaten.

Being beaten for not eating

Kwanza if you went to play after being warned not to then you came back home dirty. You deserved some hits form the slippers.

Always buying a sweet when sent to the shop

Every high schooler dream was endless bread

If you have seen the real face of an 8-4-4 boarding high school then you will know everyone’s dream was to eat bread with no limitation.

Having a near-death experience and not telling your parents because you know you’ll be beaten

When you go for those crazy escapades as children, you’d do very risky things and even get injured and not say. Ulikuwa unajua kama umesema that’s the end of you.
