A sombre mood engulfed Karura as four family members who were brutally murdered in Kiambaa were laid to rest yesterday.

Nicholas Njoroge, his Anne wife, son and nephew were found murdered at their home in Karura a week ago.

The funeral was attended by hundreds of mourners among them Kiambu Governor James Nyoro, who asked for speedy investigations of the gruesome murder.

Lawrence Warunge, the couple's son and his girlfriend Sarah Muthoni who are the main suspects in the gruesome murder are currently being held by the police before they are charged in court.
