Tanasha Donna has kept mum after she gave birth to her firstborn child, a son, with baby daddy Diamond Platnumz.
She has not revealed how her experience during labour was like.
Apparently, Tanasha went through hell and back.
In an interview with Wasafi FM, Esma Platnumz, Tanasha’s sister-in-law, narrated how painful labour was for the star’s baby mama.
“She went into labour in the morning. And the baby came on the same day as it’s dads birthday. The baby was birthed at 1am.”
Esma added that Tanasha did not hold back the birth of her son so that it can coincide with the dad’s birth date.
“Ni ujinga tu watu wanapenda sana kuongelea, na alafu watu wanapenda sana kufuatilia mambo ya watu. (That is stupid to say something like that and the thing is people love poking their noses into other people’s business.”
Of course, the Wasafi FM reporter asked her how the labour was like and how Tanasha’s experience was like through the 17-hour labour process.
And when she was pressed to discuss Tanasha’s birth experience, Esma explained,
“Once you are in labour, you lose it. It is like you have lost your mind. She suffered, she cried, through it to the point where I felt so sorry for her. Poor girl. The worst part was that she was all alone, apart from us, her family was not present. So we prayed very hard for her. At one point she cried from too much pain that I wished I could take some of her pain and help her through it. I left where she was and went to the waiting area and prayed for her.”
Read, Esma’s verbertim response in swahili, “Ukishakua na uchungu, hujielewi, kwasabu unakua akili zinaruka. Tulikua tunamsubiria uchungu, anavolia, anavofanya, mpaka unajiskia vibaya, unaona maskini mtoto wa watu.”
Adding, “Tuko na sisi, hamna upande wake, so tulikua tunaomba sana. Unajua ilifikia kipindi kuna kitu kama kiliniingia hivi.”
She continued, “Yaani vile anavolia, unatamani tu uchukue ule uchungu wake kidogo, umsaidie tu kidogo. So nilienda sehemu ya mapumziko, nilikaa, niliomba sana.”
