Tanasha Donna launched her EP on Friday after many months of waiting. Well here are lessons she can from the launch and improve in future.

  1. Don't over-hype an event unless you are sure you will deliver

If you have been up to date with her social media post Tanasha stared hyping the even almost three months ago. Many expected it would bring Nairobi to a stand still but it did not.

In-fact it was more a fashion event as 'celebs' tried to outdo each other.

As fans it's not our business to know how she creates time to rehearse,we just want her to give us good music.

2. Not sidelining Kenyan media

Tanasha had Kenyan sidelined went live on Wasafi TV which is a Tanzanian station.

For someone who is still upcoming I think it would be good for her to create a good rapport with Kenyan media.

After all 'mtu hanyi anapokula; meaning one does not poop where they are feeding from.

3.Bias

Don't get me wrong people don't go to events to eat but if you are giving some people food why leave out others.

During Tanasha Donna's EP food was only meant for 'celebrities' local media waliambiawa wafast kama Jesus in the wilderness.

In future Tanasha should give every one food after all we are all equal.

4. Polish her singing skills

We all know that someone who is talented in singing can sing even while in their sleep but for Tanasha that was not the case.

She sounded more like an old CD full of scratches.

Netizens called her out for her bad singing but she came out to defend herself stating she only had two days to rehearse.

My advise to her is to rehearse more and even visit a voice coach if need be.
