Anita Nderu came into the limelight as the cute, bubbly presenter of Teen Republik on NTV. After winning the hearts of millions of young people out there, she moved on to be a news reader at Capital FM.

To be honest, she has been one of my biggest inspirations to date. Back in April 2014, , through which she opened up to me about her career success. The thing that stood out is the fact that she had a REALLY difficult time making it.

You might think that it was easy for her to make it since she is such a pretty girl, but no.

"...when I was looking to enter the media industry and I sent my C.V left right and centre and I heard nothing back, not even a rejection letter. Well I figured it wasn’t for me and I began looking for other forms of business to get into," she said.

Despite being off screen, the lady has not stopped being an inspiration to many.
