Brian Bera who was accused of climbing the state house fence has been released to his father to take him to Moi Teaching and Refferal hospital for medical attention.

The prosecution told court that the parents suggested MTRH in Eldoret and they were not opposed to it.

Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi has suspended his plea taking until he is well enough.

His father David Bera has been ordered to stand surety for his son and sign a Sh 100,000 personal bond.

The case will be mentioned on August 7 when the court will be given a report on his condition.

Brian has also assured the court that he is going to be well but he had asked the court not to order him to go to hospital saying that the only thing he needs is to stop watching YouTube which gives him ideas.

Brian had yesterday asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to forgive him but the prosecution has told court that they have not been able to reach the President to ask for pardon on his behalf.

A sober looking Brian also told court the reason he was doing all those things including going to Mombasa on foot is because his dad has refused to give him inheritance.

"Your honour without inheritance I cannot marry, I really want to marry and without land I cannot" he said.

Andayi asked him to cooperate with his parents and doctors to make sure that he gets well, considering that he is the first born.

His dad has sworn an undertaking to court promising to take him straight to Moi Teaching and Refferal Hospital where he will be attended to.
