Tahidi High’s actor Omosh, who has been keeping a low profile after he was involved in an accident last month is doing fine.
The actor was in the company of DJ Patchez the Mixboss of a popular reggae show on Meru FM and his wife. Their car was badly damaged.
The veteran actor was spotted at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) on Saturday during Citizen TV’s 20th celebration.
Dressed in his signature acting attire a brown apron and checked shirt, Omosh looked very happy.
Below are photos of Omosh
Omosh, who once worked as a garbage collector is a recovering alcoholic. In past media interviews, he said,
I DRUNK FOR YEARS FROM THE 90s TO 2016. I STOPPED DRINKING IN 2017. I WAS ‘WALKING DEAD’ I COULD NOT EVEN EAT, I COULD NOT GET SLEEP WITHOUT DRINKING. WHEN I WOKE UP I HAD TO DRINK TO BE ABLE TO FUNCTION. ALCOHOL WAS MY PIRITON, I HAD TO ‘TOA LOCK.’ I USED TO SHAKE SO BADLY IF I DID NOT DRINK. I USED TO DRINK TILL I RAN OUT OF CASH OR TILL I WAS THROWN OUT.
Employees of Citizen TV among them news anchors, presenters, and actors of the shows which air on the station graced the event.
Ochunglo, Suzanna Owiyo, Moji Short Baba, Zzero Sufuri and Bilenge Musica du Congo were among the artistes who performed at the event.
