Top Kenyan gospel musician Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8 lost her mother Esther Njeri last night, just a day after delivering a bouncing baby girl whom they named Ladasha Belle.

The mateke singer and her husband DJ Mo shared the sad news on their social media accounts.

“God I come before you, thank you for blessing me with a new life, Ladasha Belle, and also taking away at the same time for you know best. Rest in Peace my dear mum, Esther Njeri Munyali.” - Size 8

A few months ago, Size 8 held a fundraiser at the Nairobi Pentecostal Church (NPC) Valley Road to raise the Ksh2.5 million needed to settle the outstanding medical bill for her mum who has been battling kidney failure for several years.
