Rongo MP Paul Abuor and his four aides escaped unhurt last evening when his car involved in a road accident along Waiyaki Way, Nairobi.

This was after his driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled.

Police said the MP was returning to Nairobi after spending the weekend in his constituency.

The last social media update by the MP on his Facebook was about his Saturday plans:

"I'm attending Church Service at Mbugru SDA Church, East Kamagambo and later preside over a Harambee in Aid of the Church development. In the afternoon I’ll be in North Kamagambo for a Harambee in aid of Kadianga SDA Church. Happy Sabbath to all."
