Pauline Wangare, a stunningly beautiful prison warder, never suspected that the man she meet on Facebook and chatted with for three months would kill her on their first date.

Joseph Ochieng’, 23,  told police that he travelled from Kisumu to Murang’a to meet Pauline for their first date.

Their date went swimmingly well with the couple spending the better part of Monday evening indoors allegedly smoking bhang.

However, later in the evening they had a tiff.

According to Ochieng’s testimony, it was during the heated argument that he started strangling her and she fell down with a thud.

“Sent into panic mode, the suspect narrated how he reached for a kitchen knife and stabbed her in the chest, neck and abdomen, and, thereafter, put the knife firmly in her grip in a bid to make it look like Pauline had killed herself,” said the DCI officer.

Ochieng was arrested while driving in Muhoroni in the company of his aunt, Mary Amollo, who had given him a lift. They were heading to Kisumu.

From Pauline's Facebook posts, she was a happy go lucky girl who did not let anything weigh her down.

In her very last post days before she was murdered, Pauline posted a photo of her self in a baby pink dress with the caption,

"My lips are the gun😋my smile is the trigger😌 my kisses are the bullets😘... Label me a killer😉WCW."

On the eve of the new year, Pauline's profound message read:

"Go into the new year with blessing. Give your time, attention and affection to those who deserve it... Happy new year in advance😘😘😘😍😍😍."

She celebrated her birthday on April 20, she was turning 24 years old. Taking to her Facebook profile, she wrote,

"I don't know how to act my age because I have never been here before...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME."

Later she wrote a cryptic message on her social media, one that showed her state of mind when it comes to trusting strangers.

The photo that accompanies the warning, shows her looking pensive and standing alone on an empty street.

The message read, "Trust the vibe you get... Energy doesn't lie..."

Pauline was also very fiesty. In one post, she unleashed her candor directing it at the behaviour of two-faced individuals.

Ochieng was on Friday was arraigned before a Murang’a court together with his friend Rogers Namukolo and his aunt Mary Amollo facing charges of killing Wangari at the beginning of the week.

The suspects are expected to appear in court on May 31, to stand trial on murder charges if the police will have completed their investigations.
