Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been the President of Uganda for 30 years and recently just begun yet another term that will see him rule the country for another five years.

A group calling itself “We Save Uganda Now (SUN)” claims they have begun efforts to free their country from tyranny by launching a guerilla war that is aimed at ending Museveni's 30-year reign.

“We all know that constitutionalism died a long time ago and was finally laid to rest on February 19, 2016. May its soul not rest until constitutionalism is restored,” the group’s commander who was identified as “Maji Moto” said.

The guerilla war group also claimed responsibility for an attack that took place at a police station in Kapchorwa district on March 5, 2016, that left the station's sergeant dead and other police officers critically injured.

“We would like to state that our operation was successful beyond our expectation, and would like to thanks population for their support but our gratitude goes to the men that participated in this mission and we give thanks to the Lord our God who ensured that all our brave combatants returned safely,” SUN said.
