President Uhuru Kenyatta has granted ailing football legend Joe Kadenge his final wish that the two of them have a sit down before the latter gives up his ghost.
In an interview with NTV, Kadenge said he would love to meet some people in government officials before he passes away.
Among them were President Uhuru Kenyatta, retired Presidents Mwai Kibaki and Daniel Moi so that he can get an opportunity to say goodbye before God calls him.
Uhuru – who is currently in Mombasa on an official trip – will meet Kadenge when he comes back to Nairobi.
The meeting was confirmed by Culture Principal Secretary Joe Okudo and Wesley Ong’ayo – the Secretary in the Ministry of Sports and Culture.
The two were visiting the former Kenya international player when they revealed that Uhuru had agreed to meet him either on Monday or Tuesday the coming week.
