MP Salasya does philanthropic deed for World Cup hungry youth

The politician posted a video of him and the youths enjoying a Tuesday evening World Cup match

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has bought a TV set to enable youths to watch the World Cup. On his Twitter page, the legislator said that football unites nations.

"Fulfilled my promise to purchase a TV for my youths and watch the game with me. Morocco oyee," he said.

Salasya called upon Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba to invest in Kenya Football.

"Football unites nations. Even young ones in my constituency understand Morocco is from Africa. See the joy. Ababu Namwamba please let’s invest in sports and make Harambee stars great again," he said.

The TV was put in a public place where people flocked to watch the World Cup. Salasya posted a video of himself and the youth enjoying a Tuesday evening World Cup match.

 The match was between Morroco vs Spain in round 16 where Morroco scored three goals against Spain.
