The entertainment industry is mourning the demise of celebrated Swahili actress Pretty Mutave.

Mutave is best known for her versatile nature when it comes to the variousroles she plays on screen. She has acted in shows such as Maza, Aziza among many others.

The cause of death has not yet been established.

Her death comes months after the acting industry lost another talented actor Charles Bukeko alias Papa Shirandula.

Shirandula succumbed to COVID-19 complications at the Karen Hospital where he had been taken for medical attention.

Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, Rorland Wanyama the brother-in-law said,

“HE COLLAPSED AT THE PARKING TODAY MORNING AT KAREN HOSPITAL BEFORE HE WAS ATTENDED BY DOCTORS,” HE SAID.

After Shirandula's death, Mutave had taken to her social media to mourn him.

'Rest well #papa.' She penned.

The industry has indeed lost a gem. She will be greatly missed by her fans, family and friends.
