Beyoncè just dropped a new album, and everyone's going insane; especially the ladies. After the surprise online release of "Lemonade" on Saturday after an HBO showing of the “visual album” version, even those who barely listen to Beyoncè found themselves looking for it.

The album has a lot of references to the Afro-futurism and Afro-diasporic lifestyle, and actually at some point, I noticed her dancers had face paintings resembling the popular body art designs on traditional Kikuyu women.

The paintings were actually done by 34-year-old Nigerian visual artist Laolu Senbanjo who used to work as a human rights lawyer in Lagos before becoming a full-time artist. His Afromysterics artwork features a lot on Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade' album.

Check out the pictures below and let us know what you think.
