The 27-year-old rapper shelled out the large amount for the banner of roses spelling 'take me back Cardi' when he crashed her Rolling Loud set on Saturday to beg forgiveness following cheating allegations according to TMZ.

Cardi, who was catapulted into the spotlight following her appearance on VH1's Love and Hip Hop series, headlined the festival with fellow rappers Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black and Kylie Jenner's ex Tyga.

Despite her unimpressed display, the mother pleaded with fans to treat her ex kindly after crashing her show. Citing the negative effect on Pete Davidson, who recently said he 'doesn't want to be on this earth anymore', Cardi explained: 'I know, I see a lot of people bashing me because they're feeling because I'm defending my baby-father they're thinking I'm gonna get back together with him.

'I'm not saying that I'm going to get back together with him. I just don't like that bashing online thing.

'Just earlier, you saw just how Pete Davidson was talking about how he don't even want to be on this earth because mad people be coming to him every single day.

'I wouldn't want my baby father to have that feeling because of millions of people be bashing him every day. That's a nasty feeling. I wouldn't want that. 'God could give me and bring me the most perfect glamorous and fabulous man.

'That perfect glamorous fabulous perfect man is not going to love my child the same way her father loves my child. So I don't like that b******t.

'Because I know how painful it is when you have millions of people bashing you every single day. I don't like that and it doesn't make me feel any better, period', she added.

Cardi B announced the split on Instagram earlier this month, after more than a year of marriage.

Just a day before Cardi's performance, he celebrated his 27th birthday and proclaimed his only wish for his special day was to reunite with his wife.

He said in a video shared to Instagram: 'I only got one birthday wish and that's to get my wife back, Cardi.'We're going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media. I want to apologise to you Cardi. I embarrassed you. I made you go crazy.

'I was partaking in activity that I shouldn't have been partaking in. You know what I'm saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God's promise and being a selfish, messed up husband.

He added: 'I want to be able to spend the rest of my life with you. I'm sorry.

'I am sorry for what I have done to you. I didn't f**k that girl, but I was entertaining her, you know what I'm saying? I apologise, and I love you, and I hope you forgive me. My birthday wish is just to have you back.'
