After all the rumors and speculations on whether Obama will visit his family in Kogelo or not, word is he might be able to meet them. According to the Star, Obama is set to spend some quality private time in Nairobi with them.

Although it's not clear whether they will meet at Statehouse or at their home in Kariokor, all the roads in Kariokor leading to his relatives residence have been renovated ahead of his much-anticipated visit to Kenya.

The last time Obama was in Kenya was back in 2006 when he was still Senator. The US President is expected to jet in the country on this evening to attend the GES summit which will go down at the UN complex in Gigiri. It is however still unclear if the president of the world's superpower will be accompanied by his wife Michelle and their children Malia and Sasha.
