Kiambu County Governor has distanced himself from claims by former Embakasi legislator Ferdinand Waititu that they were together at the Punjab University in India.

The Governor said this at a public gathering in Githungutiri Township Primary School, where he also said that he does not fear the entry of Waititu in Kiambu county politics. Waititu has shown interest in running for the Kiambu gubernatorial seat in 2017.

Waititu says we went to Punjab University with him. I did not see him there and you should go ask him what the name of his dean or the university principal was. He should stop lying to Kiambu County.
