Nowadays musicians only make music about things they can't get, addressing their imaginary haters and other . It's understandable; everyone cannot be a hero, but when 95% of our musicians make music in praise of alcohol and women with big buttocks, then we have a huge problem.
Just like I said yesterday, celebrities can make or destroy a country. Despite all the looting of public funds and under the table dealings which are done by corrupt politicians in this country, there are many Kenyans who don't care at all, and it's because most of them don't know how it affects them on a personal level.
Thankfully, there are very few Kenyan artistes who have actually tried to advocate for a revolution in this country through music and poetry. Sadly, these are usually the songs that don't really get the airtime and circulation they deserve.
