Kenyans are still mourning the sudden death of USA based entrepreneur Mike Mulwa who passed away last weekend. Mulwa, the proprietor of 254 clothing succumbed to a gunshot wound after he was shot by armed robbers at a Birmingham Alabama gas station on Saturday night.

Apparently, Mike was robbed three times this year and the robbers warned him that if he reports the matter to the police he would be killed.

According to Kelly Ochieng, a music promoter based in the USA, Mike was traumatised after he was ambushed by gunmen (for the third time this year) and he advised him to take heart that all will be well.

Ochieng narrated how they talked in length and a few hours later, he was called by a friend who told him to call the police as Mulwa had requested. He was then rushed to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital after the incident where he passed on.

Below is the long heartbreaking post Kelly Ochieng shared on Facebook, go through;

 "Dude drove from Alabama to my house on Thursday night with 254 t-shirts packed in his car. I told him I was headed to fusion bistro to set up and that he should rest and come the next day. Mike would simply not listen, so the dude made me wait for him to shower, get ready, pack what he thought would be sold that night and then joined me, Mike was asleep the whole trip from my house to fusion. Dude was tired but his passion kept him going. With about 60 - 70 people on Thursday night at the club, Mike sold 80 t-shirts and hats. On our way back he was trying to call anyone who was leaving Alabama or Atlanta to bring him more t-shirts, hats and everything else he was selling. Even the custom t-shirts that he was making for our team was all left in Alabama. Mike was a silent partner at BreakPoint Entertainment. We spoke every day. There is no single day, the last five months that we did not talk about business, life and everything else.

Saturday morning Mike called me from Alabama and said "bro maze jana nilikutwa at gun point, hawa ma fala walichukua doo na fegi kadha na waka nishow niki ita karao wata rudi but hii ni biashara lazima ni make report" I told mike to take some time off because he sounded traumatized. Mike said "maze nime ibiwa (3 or 5) times this year alone but nime show ma owner wa hii property wasipoweka bullet proof hapa nita uza hii bishara na ni toke hapa". Mike akanishow that hii story yote iko on video na makarao wakimaliza story yao, ata nitumia video nicheki. I then told Mike that i will call him back "wacha tuta ongea badaye, nime anza ile biz tulikuwa tume bonga, check whatsapp yako nime ku add". That was it...... Next time I am driving to Fusion Bistro, Kalonje tells me to call 911 that Mike ameshutiwa akiwa kwa simu and hii ndio address ame patiana, so me na haraka zangu nikacall 911, I was then forwarded to a number in Alabama and the cops said they were on there way. At the club we cant even go in because we are still trying to find out what is happening. Its only after we get word that he is now stable that we get into the club. Niki amka, as always I first call him and it goes straight to voicemail. I thought that was weird because the dude has never missed my call or I have never missed his. So i check whatsapp and text messages................ is gone.

Let's all please pray for the family. They need it most! Mulwa, baba yao!!!!!! Safiri salama, msalimu Maulana, tutaonana baadaye."
