3 Missing Kitengela men found alive in Kiambu after they dissapeared in August

•Jamil Longton and his brother Aslam were dumped at the Gachie border of Kiambu and Nairobi by their captors.

Activist Bob Njagi and two relatives Jamil na Aslay Longton, who had been kidnapped in Kitengela.

Two brothers and an activist who disappeared on August 19, 2024 following an anti-government protest in Kitengela, have been found alive in Kiambu County.

Activist Bob Njagi was found alive in Tigoni, Kiambu County.

President of the Law Society LSK Faith Odhiambo said that the organizer of the Free Kenya Movement, Bob Njagi, was found alive.

She said Njagi presented himself at the Tigoni police station after being thrown by kidnappers in the area.

"At seven o'clock at night Bob Njagi managed to find his way to the Tigoni police station and get help. He is alive," Odhiambo said.

The president of LSK confirmed that the activist had sent her a message confirming that he was safe.

"A message from Bob and family,

'To family, friends, and every Kenyan who has continued to pray for me, I want to confirm that I am healthy and with my family. Now is the time to calm down, be grateful for life. and for everyone to reflect on why Kenya is important,"

Njagi said, according to the LSK president.

At the same time the president of LSK said that two brothers Jamil and Aslay Longton were found dumped in Gachie, Kiambu County.

Odhiambo said the release of the three was due to the case they presented in court and pressure from social organizations.

The release of the three came a few hours after the new Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja maintained that the three were not in police custody.
