The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has issued a warning regarding power interruptions in several areas across the country on Saturday, March 23.
In a statement released on Friday evening, the company announced that some areas in five counties of Kenya will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Counties affected include Nairobi, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Lamu, and Tana River.
In Nairobi County, certain parts of the Joska Feeder area will be affected by power interruptions between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Several parts of Kipsingori and Karara areas in Trans Nzoia County will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Some areas in Nabuyole Falls and the town of Webuye will be affected by power interruptions between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM. The Bungoma Hospital area will also be affected between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
In Lamu County, the Lamu Island and its environs will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Certain parts of Hola and Masalani areas in Tana River County will also be affected by power interruptions between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
