KPLC: These 7 counties will have power outages on Thursday 22nd

The electricity distribution company in Kenya (KPLC) has issued a warning about power outages in several areas of the country on Thursday, February 22.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the company announced that some regions in seven counties of Kenya will experience power interruptions between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The affected counties include Nairobi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nyeri, Mombasa, Kilifi, and Taita Taveta.

In Nairobi County, parts of Gigiri and Muthaiga will experience power outages between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Certain areas of Kapsowar in Elgeyo Marakwet County will be affected by power interruptions between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Several parts of Tetu, Kigogoini, and Wandumbi in Nyeri County will experience power outages between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Meanwhile, some areas in Port Reitz and Migadini in Mombasa County will also be affected by power interruptions.

In Kilifi County, various parts of Kikambala, Mavueni, and Chasimba will experience power outages between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Certain areas of Maisenyi in Taita Taveta County will also face power interruptions between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
