The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has warned of a power outage in several areas of the country on Tuesday, February 20.
In a statement on Sunday evening, the company announced that some areas in seven counties in Kenya would experience a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening. The affected counties include Nairobi, Uasin Gishu, Kakamega, Kisumu, Nyeri, Kiambu, and Kilifi.
In Nairobi County, some parts near Bee Center will experience a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
Several areas in the towns of Eldoret and Mwamba in Uasin Gishu County will be affected by a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
In Kakamega County, parts of Harambe and Mayoni areas will experience a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
Some parts of Kiamabara, Karatina, Giakanja, and Mukurweini in Nyeri County will be affected by a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
Several areas in Tola, Ngoigwa, Tibs, and Compuera in Kiambu County will experience a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
In Kilifi County, some parts of the Kanamai area will be affected by a power outage between three in the morning and eleven in the evening.
