KPLC: This 5 counties will experience power outages

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced areas that will experience power outages on Monday, February 19.

In a statement on Tuesday evening, the company warned of power interruptions in several regions of five counties in Kenya between 3:00 am and 11:00 pm. The affected counties include Kiambu, Nyeri, Nyamira, Kisii, and Nandi.

In Kiambu County, specific areas such as Karatu, Gakoe, Gachege, and Kiriko will be without power between 3:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Certain parts of Ndima and Kiaruhiu in Nyeri County will experience power interruptions between 3:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Areas like Manga, Nyaisa, and Sengera in Nyamira County will also be affected by power outages between 3:00 am and 11:00 pm.

In Kisii County, some parts of Kisii town will lack electricity between 3:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Certain areas of KCC Lessos, Terige, Kapnyeberai, and Kilibwoni in Nandi County will also experience power outages between 4:00 am and 9:00 pm.
