A soldier has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a young man he found making love to his wife.
The Nanyuki-based KDF man, 43, with the help of a laboratory technician, 31, caught the man red-handed and held him hostage.
His hands and legs were bound with a plastic rope after which they set about torturing the 25-year-old man at Shimo Estate, Makueni County.
The two frog-marched the man to Makueni Police Station and handed him over to the police on allegations of a sexual liaison with a married woman.
As part of the torture, the pair pricked with man's private part with a cactus and also inflicted deep cuts on his face with a sharp object.
He was bleeding profusely by the time he got to the police station.
The hapless man was sent to Makueni County referral hospital while the two suspected assailants were arrested and held in custody.
