Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga now says that they are ready for the next phase of anti-government protests dubbed 'Mega Monday'.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Raila said they are ready for the fourth peaceful protest on Monday.

The opposition has been taking to the streets on Mondays and Thursdays.

On Saturday, he said Monday's demos will be the mother of all protests.

The demos have seen at least 10 people including police officers lose their lives.

The Opposition leader insists that not even the police will stop their resolve to bring change to Kenya.

Raila maintains that he won the August 2022 presidential poll, but was rigged out.

He claims President William Ruto colluded with the then IEBC Commissioners who helped him to out the former Prime Minister.

Part of their demands in the protests include; the president lowering the high cost of living, including the Opposition in the IEBC Commissioners hiring process, and also vacating office for Raila.

"We'd like to reiterate that the collated results on this link, https://kenyaelectionresults.com, leave no room for doubt that Azimio emerged victorious in the last election. In light of this, we strongly urge Mr. Ruto to vacate his office immediately, ahead of the upcoming #MegaMonday," Raila said in a tweet on Saturday.

On Saturday, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua warned those who are taking advantage of the demos to destroy property.

He said Monday will be their last day to do so.

"I want to caution those young men who have been taking advantage of the violence to steal property, to mug people to loot property, Monday is your last day to do so," he said.

The DP reiterated that the demonstrations are no longer peaceful but have turned into post-election violence.

"The laws of this country are clear this is no longer demonstrations, this is post-election violence, mugging, theft robbery including robbery with violence, those are felonies," he said in Malava.

"If they care, look at the penal code. The consequences are extremely heavy."
