Teachers and students are feared dead following an accident involving a bus and a Nissan matatu in Naivasha along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

Rescue operations involving police, members of the public and workers from the Naivasha fire brigade are ongoing.

Latest reports indicate that the grisly accident involved Pwani University students at the Kayole area in Naivasha after a suspected break failure.

At least 14 people have been confirmed dead f in the accident that accident along the Nakuru-Naivasha highway involving a Pwani University bus and a 14-seater matatu.
