• The California Highway Patrol disclosed that the driver who caused the accident entered the southbound lane of the freeway via Central Avenue, causing a head-on collision.

Gideon Mbatha Mutuka, 43, and his wife Ruth Mulisa Wambusa, 38 are no more.

The couple lost their lives in a catastrophic accident on the 71 Freeway in Chino Hill, USA, after another driver entered the freeway in the wrong direction.

The accident which involved at least six cars that collided with the vehicle driven by the wrong-way driver left four people dead.

Authorities say that the speed and force of the collision were so high that the vehicle on the wrong side spun around in the air before settling on the center divider, where it burst into flames

This happened on Sunday, March 19, 2021, at 2:30 am.

The California Highway Patrol disclosed that the driver who caused the accident entered the southbound lane of the freeway via Central Avenue, causing a head-on collision.

The wreckage of the accident resulted in four other vehicles crashing, causing multiple injuries to other passengers.

“Both drivers were killed on the spot following the crash,” said patrol officers.

The couple left behind 3 young children, ages 12,7, and 3.
