Body of missing Moyale man found in church septic tank

Police are investigating the discovery of a body of a man in a septic tank at the compound of Bori Catholic Church in Moyale.

Wako Denge Duba, 25, had been missing for days before his body was discovered in the septic tank on Sunday, March 5.

Police say they are yet to know how Duba died but they suspect it was a case of murder.

The tank is about six feet deep. Members of the church said there was a foul smell and on checking, they realized the decomposing body.

Police handling the matter said they took the remains to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.

Eastern police boss Rono Bunei said they are investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman whose body was found in her house in Santac estate along Ngong' Road, Nairobi.

The body was found in a prone position and seemed to have been there for more than two days.

Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei said they are yet to know the cause of the death.

He said the body did not have physical injuries and that they are waiting for an autopsy report to establish the cause of the death.

In Kasarani area, a body of a 42-year-old man was found in his house.

Police identified the man as Robinson Mwaniki.

His wife arrived home on Monday and found the man lying on the bed with a whitish substance around his mouth.

Police said they are yet to know the cause of the death and are waiting for autopsy report to tell more about the same.
