"The government said it would provide food aid to Turkey after they gave birth, but when Kenya is hungry, you tell us to pray. Really?" - Kibe asked.

Content creator Andrew Kibe has ridiculed the method used by President William Ruto to try to solve the problems facing Kenyans.

Kibe said that calling Kenyans to participate in prayer to ask God to send rain and end the drought cannot solve the problem of drought and hunger, instead the president should put in place strategies to ensure that Kenyans do not suffer from hunger.

The former radio presenter said the president should shut himself up to pray to God alone because God chose him to lead Kenyans, so that when he finishes those prayers, God will give him a solution and make it clear to Kenyans, instead of publicly calling them to pray.

"President, why are you instilling fear in us, you sound worried in your voice. God gave us you and you are the one who deserves to seek a solution from God before He comes to us with a solution. Praying is never the answer. What will happen to people who don't believe in the God you tell us about, those who don't read the Bible?" Kibe said.

The controversial blogger maintained his position that prayers have never saved Kenyans from their problems for a long time and it is time for the president to find an alternative method to find a permanent solution to the problem of hunger and drought.

Kibe also criticized the action of the government through Alfred Mutua who asked Kenyans to provide food aid to the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.

"The president is playing with us, let's talk about things to bring a meaningful solution. "The government said it would provide food aid to Turkey after they gave birth, but when Kenya is hungry, you tell us to pray. Really?  This prayer solution does not seem to be good. No country has ever found a solution through prayer," Kibe said.
