• Kalonzo's son Kennedy Kalonzo led with 45 votes in the Azimio camp, followed by Suleiman Shahbal who go 38 while Winnie Odinga garnered 35 votes.

The election of Kenya's delegates to the East Africa Legislative Assembly has been finalized by the Senate.

Kalonzo's son Kennedy Kalonzo led with 45 votes in the Azimio camp, followed by Suleiman Shahbal who go 38 while Winnie Odinga garnered 35 votes.

Other candidates in the race on the minority side scored as follows;

Fatuma Gedi (31), Kanini Kega (29), Diriye Mohamed (4), Timothy Bosire (17), Justus Kizito (9), Jeremiah Kioni (1), Wilfred Mutua (0), Beatrice Askul (1) and Hellen Mueni (1).

"We shall as a house relay the results to the National Assembly in form of a message just as wait for results from the National Assembly," Speaker Amason Kingi said.
