Following a recent Alshabab bombing in Mogadishu, Somalia, the government of Kenya offered humanitarian support to the Somalian government.
The KDF Food Processing Factory delivered assorted food items such as corned beef, dry potatoes, onions, bread, carrots, and mixed vegetables.
However, a section of Kenyans are not happy with the act of kindness from the government.
Speaking after receiving the relief food, the Somalia government through minister Daudi Awess thanked Kenyans for the kind act.
“We thank Kenya’s president H.E Hon. William Ruto for responding positively and urgently to the call for assistance by our President HE Hassan Sheikh Mohamud noting that the closeness between the two nations is crucial in the pursuit of peace and security in Somalia,” said Daudi Awess.
This comes at a time when there have been reports of drought in the country precisely Turkana, Marsabit, and the Northern part of Kenya.
