Famed Tanzanian crooner Nandy took to her Instagram to divulge having broken up with longtime rapper boyfriend Billnass.

This comes after the singer's unusual solo appearance to a live performance with Congolese music veteran Koffi Olomide raised eyebrows.

Nandy has for long let on little over the state of their relationship; recently citing having lost her engagement ring in a fracas as to why she hasn't had it on in a while.

In an interview with Tanzanian radio station Close FM, the singer was reluctant but eventually imparted being on a break with the rapper.

Nandy recently iterated this after a fan called her 'Miss Billnass', a term she renounced by commenting 'single' to allude to the breakup.

This comes only a few months after Billnass proposed to the singer.

Billnass has since deleted all his Instagram posts but is yet to publicly comment on the relationship.
