After Diamond Platnumz' manager,  Sallam Mendez announced that he tested positive for the Corona virus, another Tanzanian celebrity has also spoken up.

Popular rapper Mwana FA has announced that he has also tested positive for the virus.

In a video posted on AY's Instagram page, Mwana FA explains his ordeal.

"I went for a COVID-19 test yesterday and the results are back. I was found positive. The reason that I went to be tested was because I travelled to South Africa recently."

The rapper added,

"I had a fever when I came back and since I knew about the disease, I made sure i was isolated from everyone to avoid infecting them. I'm still in isolation."

Putting on a brave face and encouraging his fans, Mwana FA continued,

"I have recorded this video to let you know that the disease is real and anyone can get it."

Mwana FA explained some of the symptoms he experienced.

"I had a cold the other day and now I don't have it anymore.  I feel 100% well.  Which goes to show that one needs to be careful, wash your hands, don't shake hands, don't congregate in large crowds and maintain social distance."

He concluded,

"I'm recording this to let you know that if you follow the instructions being given by the health ministry and government there is no need to panic."
