Kenyan politics is as basic as calcium hydroxide! But as they say, simple things amuse simple minds. That probably explains why Mutahi Ngunyi is such a popular political analyst. Whenever I read his article, all I see is tribalism -not the primitive type we associate with our village cousins. No. A more potent and vitriolic brand -an educated tribalism.

In all honesty, people such as him put me off politics in it's entirety. But this isn't about my opinions on the man, I know him not. All I know is his political diatribe. This is about the fact that he went in on Raila and insisted on bringing in the tribe card and how ODM lynchpins went in on his mother.

A circus of the absurd!

Earlier today, Mutahi Ngunyi posted a tweet that went something like this:

Raila should be put on TRIAL.The JUDGE: poverty stricken LUOs. And LUHYAs craving his bondage. CHARGE: selfishness, selfishness, selfishness

Our inhouse connoisseur of everything Luopean informed us that what Hon (sic) Gladys Wanga said is equivalent to "your mother". And I found myself wondering why she felt the need to stoop even lower than Mutahi Ngunyi.
