The say truth is stranger than fiction but join me if you will on a journey through the strange. Open your mind for a minute so I may tell you of a train of events that indeed are Mind boggling. The main actors on this stage are Gabu and Bernard Kioko, the business mogul behind Bernsoft, a  company that in the past has financed P-Unit videos as well as bankrolling for a host of other Kenyan entertainers' videos.

And when I said actors, it is more accurate to say gladiators as you will soon see.

Bernard Kioko on his part is passionate about the local entertainment scene -fine fixation for anyone who needs something to obsess about. He often organizes events such as The Circle and concerts that he bankrolls and some of the acts that are a damn near mainstay at every B.K (as his friends call him) event is a performance by P-Unit.

According to my source who was there at the party, P-Unit were meant to be performing at an event at Rafikiz in Nakuru for one of the many events that would serve as an alternative after party anyone who was at the Nakuru Prinsloo 7s.

Bernard Kioko was meant to give the artists a heads up on the event and pay them before they took to the stage but his phone was out of charge. Then when P-Unit found their way to the venue, they lost it. It is alleged that Gabu gave Bernard Kioko a thorough thrashing that had him doing more than just smarting.

On the other hand however, the second source alleges this:

From all accounts, money was the bone of contention. However, from 3 eye witness accounts, Bernard Kioko was given a beating for the days but from this one account, he was spared. You be the judge of what did or didn't go down.

When I reached out to Bernard Kioko, he was unavailable for comment. Gabu on his part had this to say:

"I have no comment about that"
