The Kenyan national football team Harambee Stars seems to have lost the glory it deserves. Nowadays, we are no longer the talk of East Africa. In the recent past, we have not won any international competition, and this worries many soccer lovers.

Harambee Stars players have been accused of being lazy, playing personal interests (for the name at the back of the shirt and not the badge in front) and being indisciplined. Most players in the Stars camp have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Late last year, Stars players were on the spot in the wake of reports where a staffer was drugged and abused at a Nairobi hotel where the team was camping. At around the same time, another Stars player was locked up at a police station after reportedly battering his pregnant wife following a spat over a TV remote.

Well, this time round, a popular Harambee Stars player is involved in a love triangle drama with his "baby mama" and a lady who features prominently in the national women's volleyball team.

Preliminary investigations by our source indicate the said footballer, who plays for one of the top Sportspesa Premier League clubs, stays on the third floor in the same flat with this volleyball star player, who is separately involved in a failing marriage.

The two Kenya internationals have, however, been spending most of their time together in the man's flat on Thika Road in an on-and-off relationship, much to the frustration of the footballer's baby mama. Both stars are said to be party animals and you can never fail to find them at a famous city club in Parklands where reggae lovers flock every Thursday, with each of them consistently returning home late at night either as a couple or in turns.

In reaction to this development, the baby mama is said to have caused drama at the said flat last week.

"She came and caused disturbances here, though her estranged boyfriend wasn't in at the time. Her issue is not particularly about the man; she just wants money and money,"
