After a continuous barrage from online trolls Jimmy Gait is set to finally respond. The gospel artiste has for the longest time remained mum despite receiving countless memes throwing all manner of shade at him. Now however he can keep silent no more.

He says:

“I think I have kept quiet long enough, every time something happens people pick on me. It’s time I respond to all the hate I get on social media but in a Christian way. I don’t want to say much for now but I’ll invite members of the press for a briefing and make my announcement then.”

Though he has always been a darling of the gospel industry, things went south when he released the "hallo" cover. The song originally sang by British queen of pop Adele was covered by countless artistes across the world. Yet none drew more criticism than Jimmy Gait’s cover of the song.

The trend was also repeated when he released “yesu ndie sponsor” which attracted various funny memes. His latest single “Kuna Day Remix” was a resounding success even getting a nomination at this year’s Groove Award.

Through it all the gospel super star kept a positive outlook never really hitting back at his detractors. This time however he has had enough. The hit maker is set to make his announcement on the 17th of this month at a popular hotel. It is still unclear what exactly he has in store but from the looks of things it will be big.
