Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is alleged to be involved to the death of one of his friends identified as Tagbo Umeike.

According to reports, the Fall hitmaker has been re-invited by police to quiz him on his car allegedly bringing the corpse to a hospital.

A section of Nigerian media say that Davido’s driver identified as Tunde Yusuf, and two friends of Davido's, Agbaje Olaoye and Idris Busari, dumped Tagbo’s corpse at Lagos Island General Hospital and fled.

The singer has since then denied that he was aware of his friend's corpse being dumped in that hospital.

In a recent social media post, Davido said;

'#RIPTAGBO .... ❤️ till we meet again .. I love you guys ... DEVIL IS A LIAR!! GOD IS IN CONTROL!! WE ARE STRONGER!!🕊🕊'

In another post, the IF singer posted two Afrimma awards and said one was for Tagbo and another one for his other deceased friend.

"One for Olu , One for Tagbo 🌹 ! Nothing but love , support , and positive energy came from you guys ! Thanks for you guys for keeping me motivated . This is ‘OUR’ Award. Thank you Afrimma ! Thank you Lord ."
