Top mugithi musician Sammidoh is the talk of town after he was linked to city babe turned politician Karen Nyamu.

Karen who is a lawyer and director at the Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company is heavy with child and Samidoh has been fingered as the daddy.

Speaking to Word Is, Samidoh said,

"I have a wife with children and I do not intend to get another one with the current economy. I have not been dating her, she has just been my big fan for a long time."

Defending himself further, Samidoh added,

"I have not even met her for over three months after I cut ties with her since I realised our friendship would affect my family."

Anyhow, fans are sceptical because they think the two are an item.

Anyhow, Samidoh recently released a new song titled Mumbi. The music video features Joseph Kori, murder suspect turned state witness

Kori was arrested alongside his mistress Judy Wangui and car dealer Michael Mathenge in connection with the murder of his wife Mary Wambui.

He was later released unconditionally and turned state witness. The case is ongoing.

The song, Mumbi is about a forgotten way of life.

In one stanza, Samidoh laments that Mumbi used to be conservative but has turned into an a party girl.

"I miss the days you would cook like my mum, but now you drink more than my father. I miss when you did not know about makeup...You are now lost because of the term fashion," he sings.
