A Kenyan man has received a lot of praise from social media users for doing the unthinkable upon receiving Sh60,000 on his phone by mistake.

Unlike many who would rush to withdraw the money before switching off their phones, Tito Ngahu Kamau decided to contact the mobile service provider to reverse the transaction.

Kamau put up a post on Safaricom's official Facebook page saying one lad who goes by the name Peter Mwaura had accidentally sent him Sh60,000 on his M-PESA account.

He then requested the firm to reverse the transaction and even co-operated by providing the transaction code.

His actions left netizens dumbfounded. While some lauded him for being honest, others felt that he should have kept the money to help him in this harsh economic times.
