On Saturday evening, singer Christian Longomba breathed his last at the Downtown hospital in Los Angeles.

Celebrities have paid moving tributes to how Christian lived his life and the mark he has left.

Today, his brother Lovy Longomba came out to thank everyone for their kind words and thoughts.

"I never imagined I would have to do this, any time ever. I wanted to tell everybody that has messaged me and called me to check on the family and stuff. I thank you. I know Christian would have loved that and he would appreciate that a lot. Thank you."

An inconsolable Lovy shed tears saying, "Man, this hurts."

"This is the first time we have ever been separated. I'm not crying because I don't know where he is I know where he is, but the separation is tough, we toured the world together, we probably spent 96 percent of the time together we went to school together we toured together that separation is brutal."

He added,

"You know even to the last few years, and the last few days, Christian was laughing, he was energetic, he was dancing, even in pain he still knew how to laugh, he would enjoy himself even to the last days."

Lovy revealed that Christian made some specific stipulations about how things will be done when he is gone.

"By Monday I will let you all know what the plans are, there are specific things that Christian wanted I'm gonna make sure we do that, He was a good man, loved his kids and loved everybody around him."

He continued,

"He always said legends never die. Every morning I would go downstairs to check up on him and now i can't do that any more...wow. it is crazy. Christian's kids are coming on Wednesday I will spend tome with them."
