Lovy Longomba makes History After Being Nominated For A Grammy!

We know him as one half of the the Longombas duo. His name is Lovy and it would seem he is an exception to most Kenyan artists who go in search of greener pastures in America and end up with their careers in the trash can. When he left along with his twin brother I figured it was all just so they can "retire" in America and that would put paid to their careers but it would seem Lovy was not destined to be yet another statistic.

Lovy was part of the production team that worked on US-based Australian rapper Iggy Azalea’s song “Change Your Life”, which features popular rapper T.I. Iggy Azalea has four nominations in this year’s Grammys and this song is one of those in contention.

few recall that while in Kenya, he and a group of Ogopa DJs based artists left to form Bad Man Camp before returning to Ogopa Deejays studio where they continued to enjoy a successful career (he and his twin brother) before relocating to the US about seven years ago, where they set up a record label.
