Kenya has had its fair share of influential political figures owning slightly costly items, most of them being accessories, properties, and even cars.

Known for their flamboyance and expensive lifestyle, politicians are at it again. This time showing off their expensive tastes.

In this piece, we shall discuss some political figures who are known for publicly showing off their wealth and lifestyle.

Here are some of the figures that have taken the internet by storm.

Mike Sonko

Ex- Nairobi governor, Mike Sonko is known for flaunting his wealth on the internet, showing off wads of cash, and supporting young talents by giving them a taste of his lifestyle, but what does the extravagant politician own?

The business mogul has been showcasing some of his properties and assets, some of them being two escalades each costing around Ksh 20 million, a farmhouse that sits on the highest level of a slope valued at around Ksh 150 million to name some.

The flamboyant politician is often spotted using two or more phones with a combined value of more than Ksh 500,000.

Ali Hassan Joho

The famous fashion icon, former Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho, was seen wearing a hooded jacket that is believed to be worth an amazing Ksh.227,150. This is another example of his expensive taste.

After leaving office at the end of the 2022 election, the former county boss has been low-key in the political arena. However, he was spotted in the United States wearing the minty Moncler's Dincer hooded jacket, a puffy, white-and-blue-striped fashion show-stopper.

Their original website says the blue and red stripes down the arms "honor the brand's French roots." It costs about $1,750 (Ksh.227,150) on high-end luxury fashion websites.
