He was with his boss CS Defense Aden Duale who hosted the Pakistani High Commissioner to Kenya H.E Ibrahim Hussain Khan at the Defense Headquarters, Nairobi

The CS told the Commissioner that Kenya and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan continue to enjoy warm cordial relations dating back to the 1960s.

The bilateral ties were cemented in November 2023, when the two States negotiated a Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA) currently undergoing consideration by the two parties.

The CS cited that the two countries have collaborated in military engagements including high-level leadership visits, regular port calls to Mombasa by Pakistan Naval ships and military training among others.

He further echoed the existence of a huge potential for furthering the synergy through the defense industry and maritime cooperation which shall be possible once the DCA comes into effect.
